Nova Clips HQ — Privacy Policy

Nova Clips HQ is a private, invite-only tool used by the Nova Clips HQ team to schedule and publish short videos to YouTube, Instagram and TikTok accounts that the team owns, and to store those videos temporarily on Google Drive.

What we access

• YouTube: permission to upload videos to the connected channel, read the channel name, and read the view / like counts of the videos uploaded through this app (to show the team how their posts perform).
• Google Drive: access only to files this app creates (scope drive.file), used to store video clips until they are posted, then delete them.
• Email address of the connected Google account, to show which account is connected.

How data is used and stored

Access tokens and videos are stored only on the team's own server. Data is never sold, shared with third parties, or used for advertising. Google user data is used only to provide the upload and storage features above, in line with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

YouTube API Services

Nova Clips HQ uses YouTube API Services to upload videos to YouTube channels that the team connects, read the channel name, and read the statistics of the videos it uploaded. By using the YouTube features you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy. We do not use cookies or tracking for advertising; a login cookie keeps team members signed in. Stored YouTube data (access tokens, channel name, upload results) is kept only while the channel is connected and is deleted when the channel is removed from the app, or on request.

Deleting data

Disconnect the account inside the app, or remove access at Google security settings / myaccount.google.com/permissions. Videos are deleted automatically after they are posted.
